San Juan- The President of the Kinesis Foundation, José Enrique Fernández, was awarded last Saturday with the Zenit 2019 Award, in the “Institution of the Year” category, which recognizes each year the work of organizations and/or entrepreneurs that, with their works, have encouraged social responsibility in Puerto Rico, as has his philanthropic work for the education of Puerto Rico through the organization that he directs.

“It was an honor for me to accept this award on behalf of the Kinesis Foundation. I want to share this award with all the young students who have passed through our organization and have allowed us to develop them. They are our reason for being. It is precisely the youth of Puerto Rico that can change us into a new nation”, said Fernández.

“The fact that I have been selected for this award means one more stimulus to continue working for our young people”, he added.

Recognized in the Faculty of Education of the UPR

On the other hand, the Faculty of Education of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), recognized the work of Fernández during their recognition activity on June 6 at the Rafael Cordero Amphitheater of the Eugenio Maria de Hostos faculty, due to the “quality and dedication” for the educational community of Puerto Rico.

“The fact that our Kinesis legacy is having an impact on the community of students and professionals in the field of education fills us with great pride. We have to unite the forces of wills and efforts by investing in the education of Puerto Rico”, he concluded.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
