Each year, our students show us that with the right tools, they surpass even their own expectations and goals. This is precisely demonstrated by the story of Dr. Alexander Díaz López, a former Kinesis student, who has achieved success and much more.
During 2011, Dr. Díaz-López received the Kinesis-Fernández Richards Fellowship from the University of Notre Dame, where he completed a doctoral degree in mathematics.
Currently, Alexander is a professor of mathematics and a mentor at Villanova University, who recently received the “2019 Junior Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching Award” from Villanova and embarked on several outstanding research projects in his field.
Alexander is also co-founder of the Villanova “Discovering Resources and Exploring Advanced Mathematics and Statistics Program”, a mathematics program that seeks opportunities for students in the same field of numerical science that he is passionate about (certificates, masters, and doctorates).
However, another achievement reached by this professional who is part of the Kinesis family is having been selected as editor of the American Mathematical Society PhD + Epsilon blog, which seeks to develop topics on professional development and teaching methods.
Precisely for his career, he served as a special guest of the graduation of the students of the Bright Stars program of the Kinesis Foundation 2019, during the month of June.
