From an early age, Ian Rosado has demonstrated a passion for learning and personal development, standing out as a member of the Kinesis Foundation through our Bright Stars, Scholarship, and KIPP - Kinesis Internship & Placement Program, which have provided him with countless opportunities to grow and achieve his goals.
His love for Taekwondo, reading, camping, and learning new things reflects his curiosity and dedication. It was through math Olympiads in middle and high school that Ian became familiar with the Kinesis Foundation, as many of his peers in these competitions were part of the Bright Stars program.
A graduate of Carib Christian School, class of 2021, a small institution in Aguadilla, Ian emphasizes that "Kinesis gave me the tools to believe in my abilities and provided me with the necessary support to apply to universities in the United States and Puerto Rico."
Ian was accepted at MIT, Johns Hopkins University, UPR-Mayagüez, Case Western Reserve University, among others. He is currently pursuing his degree at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he aspires to become a Mechanical Engineer.
This brilliant young man shares that after completing his undergraduate studies, he plans to apply for an MD-PhD program, which will allow him to study medicine and focus on researching medical devices. His goal is to combine his passion for medicine and research to make a significant impact on the world.
