2. The teacher who wins the Award will receive a prize of $5,000 for continuing education, educational conferences or educational materials for her classroom. The winner has to choose one of the three alternatives for the prize. The prize will only be awarded for the chosen alternative. It cannot be changed after chosen.

3. VALIDITY. The competition for the prize begins at 12:00 am on March 15, 2025 and ends at 11:59 pm on April 15, 2025.

4. ELIGIBILITY. Eligible to participate are teachers who are legal residents of Puerto Rico and are twenty-one years (21) or older at the time of registration and who are:
   to. high school or private school teachers of grades 9-12.
   b. who are not employees or contractors of the Kinesis Foundation (the “Promoter”) or immediate family or people living in their household

5. INSCRIPTION. Registration is free of cost. Starting at 12:00 a.m. on March 15 and until 11:59 p.m. on April 15 2025 students who wish to nominate a teacher must visit and complete their registration through www.kinesispr.org. You will find the Official Rules and forms on the Kinesis Foundation website.
   · Entries that Kinesis may understand as contrary to the Official Rules or considered inappropriate or have immoral content will be disqualified and automatically discarded.
   Kinesis reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry or voting process or whose behavior violates the Official Rules or who engages in negative or disruptive behavior and to seek damages from such person as permitted by law. .
   · Kinesis' decisions will be final and binding in all respects.

6. NOTIFICATION TO THE WINNER. Kinesis will contact the winner via email, whichever they provided as part of the Entry. Kinesis reserves the right to demand any documents and information it deems necessary to verify the Winner's eligibility. If any Winner is found to be ineligible for any reason, at the sole discretion of Kinesis, he or she will be disqualified and the participating teacher with the next highest score, among those evaluated by the Jury, will become the Winner.

7. PRIZE. The winner will receive:
   · A $5,000 Prize to be used by the winning teacher for continuing education, educational conference or educational materials. (The teacher must choose between one (1) of the three alternatives.
   · The winner will be recognized at the Bright Stars Graduation, in June 2025, so his presence is required.
   General conditions and restrictions of the prizes:
   · Prizes cannot be substituted, assigned, exchanged for cash or transferred; except at the sole discretion of Kinesis. The Winner understands and agrees that Kinesis is not and cannot be responsible for any express or implied warranties or representations, whether in fact or by law, regarding the Prize or its prizes including, but not limited to, their quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. .
   · Kinesis' responsibility to the Winner ends upon delivery of the prize. Prizes may be subject to additional conditions imposed by third parties. The Winner is responsible for verifying with the third party the costs and terms of the course, conference or equipment or material that she has chosen as a prize.

8. PRIZE CLAIM. The Winner agrees to sign any additional documents required by the Promoter in order to verify his or her eligibility and to formalize, effectuate or perfect consent for the Promoter to use his or her name, image (photograph and/or video), biographical information and voices in advertisements. , advertising/trade without compensation, notification or approval and waive any intellectual property rights, or any kind, in such material. 9. AUTHORIZATION OF ADVERTISING USE. Additionally, by accepting the prize, each winner agrees to be interviewed, photographed and filmed in connection with any promotional activity related to the Contest. 10. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE. By participating in the Contest, participating teachers agree to release and exonerate and hold harmless Kinesis, the Department of Education of Puerto Rico, its officers, directors, managers, employees, subsidiaries, affiliated entities, agents, members, insurers, divisions, predecessors , successors, representatives, attorneys, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any claim or cause of action arising as a result of participation in the Contest or receipt, redemption or use of the Prize including, but without limitation to the following: (a) unauthorized intervention in any part of the registration or voting process; (b) errors in the processing or tabulation of participations and votes; (c) any printing or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; (d) any damage or breach caused by force majeure or acts of God; (e) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunction of any computer, mobile devices, cable, network, hardware or software, if applicable, as well as any failure of the website; or (f) any damage or loss related to participation in the Contest or caused by the use of the prize, including, but not limited to, death, illness and/or unforeseen expenses of the participating teacher and/or third parties.

11. CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS. Kinesis reserves the right, in accordance with applicable regulations and at its sole discretion, to cancel or change the start and end dates of the Promotion and to modify the Official Rules and the prizes offered in the event of unforeseeable circumstances, outside of its control or beyond its control as may be necessary including, but not limited to, technical errors or failures, viruses, hackers, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the promoter that affects or corrupts the promotion somehow.

12. APPLICABLE LAW. All issues and controversies related to the interpretation and application of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of the teachers and the Promoter in relation to the Contest, are governed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and are They will be resolved under the jurisdiction and competence of the Court of First Instance, Superior Chamber of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

13. PERSONAL INFORMATION OF THE PARTICIPANT TEACHER. By entering the Prize, the Promoter may collect non-personally identifiable information about entrants.
