Athlete and lover of the biomedical sciences. Jasmal Cruz is a Bright Stars student who, thanks to her passion for sports and academic discipline, received a full athletic scholarship on Delaware University. In addition, the student of St. Mary’s School, accepted to be part of the volleyball team of the university institution under the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA, for its acronym in English).
“Without a doubt, being part of the Bright Star program of the Kinesis Foundation has given me many opportunities, as were the reviews given for standardized tests, which made it possible to obtain a competitive score, as well as certifications and leadership modules, which have definitely managed to strengthen my goals”, Jasmal said.
“Although the road is a difficult one and with thousands of obstacles, I always advise others to never give up. There are no limits when you want to achieve dreams. Once science said that I was not going to be able, today I am the one who tells science I could. Always give your best in everything you propose”, she added.
