Antonio Luis Ferré

Antonio Luis Ferré is the president of Ferré-Rangel, owner of the biggest newspaper in Puerto Rico, El Nuevo Día, as well as the newspaper Primera Hora, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Kinesis Foundation.

Ferré worked as a member of the Commission for the Civil Rights of Puerto Rico in the 60’s, and served as political campaign director for his father, Luis A. Ferré. From 1965 to 1966, he was president of the Puerto Rico Manufacturer’s Association.

Ferré and his wife, Luisa Rangel, have delegated the day-to-day operations of their businesses and non-profit entities, including the Museo de Arte de Ponce, the Ferré Foundation established by his father, and now the Kinesis Foundation, to their children.
